Attached is a picture of the AEK Athens Away Jersey for the upcoming 2010/2011 season. Unfortunately it appears as if the team has reverted back to their 'bumble-bee' status. However, the last time they wore these jerseys they played Zidane's Real Madrid twice in the Champions League and managed to draw both matches. Ahhh, the memories, now AEK Athens is a mere afterthought regarding Greek football. Enjoy!
kreas, this is the away shirt.

Thanks anonymous for your comments . . . changed it, and yes AEK Athens have been an afterthought in Greek football. I am a huge supporter of the club but we haven't competed for a title since 1994 and last won the cup in 2002. That is a league drought of about 16 years, so yes we are an afterthought in Greek football. Once we are able to compete in terms of $$$ and sign some decent players then maybe we can compete for a title but in the meantime we are going to continue to enjoy the Europa League and battling for third place!
ReplyDeleteur a good man. After my comments I was expecting u to tell me to "hosi it".

where can i buy a jersey like this? i live in the USA
ReplyDeleteIn North America, it is difficult to find AEK Athens jerseys, especially the away jersey. I would recommend doing an internet search and looking at various websites. If that doesn't work try the AEK website and their store. Or ask someone who goes to Greece to pick you up a jersey from one of the teams official stores and not some knock-off. Hope it helps
