Fearless Predictions - Copa America - Day 13

The quarterfinals are set at the Copa America and now we can finally have some fun. Both Brazil and Argentina have been paired on opposite sides of the bracket, so even though they have had their difficulties in the group stage, the dream final is still a possibility. So, let's get to today's quarterfinals.

Women's World Cup Panos Power Rankings - Edition #2

With the group stages completed at the Women's World Cup, I must say I have been captivated by the tournament. The level of play has surprised me and the lack of the theatrics that mar that men's game are not on display. The three big favorites still remain in Germany, the United States and Brazil with the only surprise, if you can even call it that, is that Canada were sent home early. Of course with the conclusion of the group stage, there is only one thing left to do . . . here are the PBP Power Rankings, Edition #2.

Fearless Predictions - Copa America - Day 5

I have to admit it has been rather difficult trying to jump into the Copa America, especially with the Women's World Cup and MLS happening at the same time. Furthermore, it appears as if all the big teams, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay all struggled in their opening games and thus we have not had the typical South American flair that the Copa America is all about. Well let's get going with the second set of group games.

Fearless Predictions - Women's World Cup - Day 10

First of all I would like to extend my apologies to the loyal followers of Posts By Panos, because as I assumed the Day 9 fearless predictions did not post. Of course, any betting losses that have been incurred, just be sure to put it on my tab. But if you are betting on the Women's World Cup and relying on me for your advice well you have bigger problems than a couple lost dollars.

Fearless Predictions - Copa America - Day 2

Waking up this morning and seeing that Argentina tied Bolivia at the opening match of Copa America was a complete shock. The fact that they had to come from behind against a pugnacious Bolivian side, speaks volumes to how disorganized Argentina were in this opening match. Enough about Day 1, let's get to today's Copa America match.

Fearless Predictions - Women's World Cup - Day 3

We knew that perfection would not last throughout the entire Women's World Cup, but are we really surprised that it is the British that failed to live up to expectations. It seems like an almost annual right of summer, a disappointing British national team, but regardless it is a new day, and thus a new day of fearless predictions.

Women's World Cup Preview - Group C

Group C at the Women's World Cup in Germany sees the United States, take on heated rival North Korea, European power Sweden, and South American minnow Colombia. The United States will be favored to top the group while North Korea and Sweden will both look to advance to the knockout stage. Columbia have yet to play a match against a non-South American opponent and are much outsiders at this tournament.
