UEFA Champions League Power Poll - Edition #2

The first legs of all the Champions League matches have been completed and it is time to update the Posts By Panos Power Poll. Many of the first legs were tight and nervy affairs with the home teams looking not to concede rather than play for the victory. This usually happens in the first leg, so hopefully the second legs will be open and free-flowing matches with plenty of goals. Regardless, it is the Champions League and you are still going to watch regardless. Onto the Power Poll!

UEFA Champions League Power Poll

Many people have argued that the World Cup is football's greatest tournament because of the passion and pageantry of the entire spectacle. This might as well be true, as no other competition encapsulates international pride for one's country like the World Cup. However, the best football tournament in the world is the UEFA Champions League. The simple reason is that the quality of football is simply better.

Teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Manchester United cultivate and develop a playing style that is passed throughout the organization from the youngest of youth teams to the senior squads. Their squads are developed not in a two-week training period before a tournament but rather over the course of a footballing generation.
