Thank You

Friends and Family of Posts By Panos,

Thank you for letting me be part of your World Cup viewing experience. I have thoroughly appreciated all the comments and questions from every single one of you. I have appreciated your patience with my poor grammatical skills and unique methods of manipulating the English language, but most importantly I thank you for investing your time to the website/blog.

But there is still something left to be done. I am not sure where to take Posts By Panos. So, please feel free to offer some suggestions below, and I will put up a poll and go with the masses. It has been a blast.

Much love and one cup,
Panos

  1. I think you should keep the blog and branch out to discuss other sports! Soccer can be the ongoing theme, but I would like to hear your thoughts on other issues happening in the sporting world... i.e. the LeBron James shenanigans.

  2. Just keep it going, where else are we going to hear about the trials and tribulations of Samaras.

  3. Reading this blog everyday, watching the videos, and participating in the chats made my world cup experience much more enjoyable. I guarantee that there will always be something to discuss in the world of sports and you should keep the blog going!

  4. thanks for "painting the picture" panos this world cup. this website enriched my world cup experience greatly.

    - it was great to get well-thought-out analysis from a truly international source (rather than american/england-centric reporting).
    - you did a job that bill simmons/anyone could never do for soccer/world cup. he would be out of his depth & make dumb american comments.
    - thanks for creating a little community and connecting old aramcons together. it's great to connect again to people from saudi.

    ideas:
    - not to copy bill simmons, but it would be awesome if you had a weekly or biweekly podcast w/someone from saudi as your co-host and maybe a column every now and then. EPL and barca/real madrid coverage would be the most interesting with some NBA.
    - a cover-it-live for big premier league games & big sporting events.
    - an occasional preview column once or twice a month.

again great job man. one of the highlights of my world cup : ) thanks again bro.

  5. NOS.

First off, huge respect for getting PBP up and going and really making it something worth reading and participating in!

Your commentary, 'fearless' predictions, entertaining side notes and live commentaries were certainly a highlight of my World Cup experience.

As far as PBP's future, I would hate to see it go away. Expand the scope a little bit to include other sports talk, keep soccer as the focus, but PBP has a great potential for furthering its field. We all know you're a busy boy with job hunting and the like, so everyone will understand reduction in posts, but I hope to see occasiional banter on the intriguing topics of the day!
