EPL Week #3 Fearless Predictions

Last week's predictions came in at .500 so we are making small but steady improvements. Week #3 in the English Premier League will see a full set of games before the international break and the start of Euro 2012 qualifying. So onto the picks, of course, after the jump.

Blackburn - Arsenal (1-2)
Blackburn have had a phenomenal home record ever since Sam Allardyce took over the club, but this will be one of their more difficult league fixtures and I see Arsenal grabbing the three points with Fabregas and Van Persie starting the match from the outset.

Blackpool - Fulham (2-0)
This is the first home game for the newly promoted Blackpool, and why not, I see them grabbing the victory and being spurred on by their Sea of Tangerine.

Chelsea - Stoke (4-0)
Chelsea have had a rather easy beginning to the new campaign with games against WBA and Wigan already completed; however, against Stoke things might be a little bit more difficult but nevertheless Chelsea will cruise.

Tottenham Hotspur - Wigan Athletic (2-0)
The days are numbered from Roberto Martinez and a loss to Tottenham might see him without a job after the international break; Wigan will play better but still come out on the short end of the fixture.

Wolverhampton Wolves - Newcastle United (2-2)
The Magpies scored six goals in their first home match against Aston Villa last time out and Andy Carrol looks like a typical British center-forward, however they should be in for a draw against Wolves.

Manchester United - West Ham United (3-1)
Alex Ferguson will be fuming at the dropped points at Fulham, considering the missed penalty, and I see the Red Devils responding with a class performance against the Hammers.

Bolton Wanderers - Birmingham City (2-0)
Bolton have started brightly in the league and after their away victory against West Ham I see them continuing their good form with a fairly straightforward victory against Birmingham City.

Liverpool - West Brom (3-0)
A rested Gerrard and Torres will score the goals as Liverpool stroll to victory against the new boys due to their confidence boost after their victory in Turkey.

Sunderland - Manchester City (0-2)
Sunderland have made a poor start to the campaign first by throwing away three points against Birmingham and then losing away to West Brom, and I see them struggling against City this week.

Aston Villa - Everton (1-1)
I don't know what to make of Aston Villa after throwing away their European campaign last night against Rapid Vienna, and I see them struggling for a draw against Everton in what will be Kevin Macdonald's last game as caretaker manager.

OVERALL RECORD
9-11
