EPL Week #4 Fearless Predictions

After a week off, here is hoping that we will able to climb above .500 with our EPL Fearless Predictions. We have a great assortment of games on tap and trust me when I say it will be an exciting weekend of football. With England playing well, there really is no drama in England is there?!? Thank you Captain Roo-Roo! Onto the picks!

Everton - Manchester United (2-2)
So disgraced England star Wayne Rooney's first match after the allegations of infidelity is against his boyhood club Everton, what drama. Let us assume that Goodison Park will be in a fever pitch, like the pun, and that Everton will be going for blood against a mentally weaker United. But at the end of the day it is United and a draw is on tap.

Arsenal - Bolton (2-0)
Arsenal are without Theo Walcott and RVP and are playing a tough Bolton squad that have actually scored all of their goals in the second half. Arsenal still have a stellar attacking line-up and I expect them to grab all three points at the Emirates.

Fulham - Wolverhampton Wolves (2-1)
Fulham have had a couple decent showings before the international break, drawing United in particular while Wolves have started the season brightly although the opposition have been on the lower end of the table. I see a home victory in store for Fulham in this one.

Manchester City - Blackburn (1-0)
Blackburn have had a tendency to make things difficult for the top teams and are usually very difficult to breakdown. The key for City is to score an early goal forcing Blackburn to come out and play thus opening up the game. City should triumph in a low scoring game.

Newcastle - Blackpool (2-0)
Newcastle have started their campaign very brightly and will be taking on fellow promoted partners Blackpool. St. James Park will be an intimidating stadium for Blackpool and I see Newcastle grabbing all three points.

West Brom Albion - Tottenham Hotspur (0-1)
Tottenham struggled mightily in their last league campaign against Wigan and I see them bouncing back against West Brom away from home. Even though, they have a crucial Champions League match on Tuesday, Tottenham should secure all three points, but then again it is Tottenham.

West Ham - Chelsea (0-2)
West Ham have started the season very poorly and recently locked in midfielder Scott Parker for a further five years. Chelsea, on the other hand, are en fuego and will cruise to another victory.

Wigan - Sunderland (1-1)
Wigan played brilliantly against Tottenham two weeks ago and were bolstered by the performance of their keeper, Ali Al Habsi. Furthermore, Wigan will be welcoming their old manager Steve Bruce to their home ground, yet at the end of the day Darren Bent will rescue Sunderland and grab a point.

Birmingham - Liverpool (0-2)
Roy Hodgson recently claimed that he is in the process of removing all the `dead wood`that was left by his predecessor at Anfield, Rafa Benitez. Birmingham will be a difficult opponent but Torres and Gerrard should score the goals for the Reds.

Stoke - Aston Villa (1-1)
So the Frenchman Gerard Houllier is back in English football and it is still unsure if this will be his first match in charge of Aston Villa. With all the uncertainty surrounding his status a draw is on the cards between both team.

OVERALL RECORD
14-16
