EPL Week #7 Fearless Predictions

Wow, that was a horrendous showing in fearless predictions from your humbled prognosticator. After correctly picking ONE match out of ten, some much needed changes have taken place. Now, PBP does no research and has at least one beer before making the picks. So unto the picks and hopefully better luck!

Wigan - Wolves (1-1)
After Wigan was able to claw out a draw against Birmingham last weekend, let' see them continue the momentum against Wolves with another point.

Birmingham - Everton (0-1)
Every week I pick Everton and every week I get the prediction wrong, so therefore, it is a law of averages and I am sticking with the Toffees, they better come through.

Stoke - Blackburn (1-0)
Stoke will get the points in this match-up against Rovers with a goal scored by former Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones in the second half.

Sunderland - Manchester United (2-2)
Manchester United are coming off a great victory in the Champions League against Valencia and are missing some key players for the match-up at the Stadium of Light, therefore I see a draw on the cards.

Tottenham Hotspur - Aston Villa (1-0)
Fresh off their first victory in the Champions League, Spurs will be entertaining Villa in what should be a great attacking game of football, however Houllier still needs to time for his philosophy to set in at Villa and I see Spurs winning by a solitary goal.

West Brom - Bolton (1-1)
West Brom played brilliantly in their game against Arsenal and find themselves in an unfamiliar position at the top end of the table, and I see them dropping down to Earth with a draw against Bolton.

West Ham - Fulham (2-0)
West Ham are just beginning to find their groove, just like Stella did, and will grab three points in the second half against Fulham with goals coming from Parker and Upson, yes a defender.

Manchester City - Newcastle (2-0)
City played admirably against Juventus in the Europa League and should of won the match, and I expect that they will take their frustration out against Newcastle.

Liverpool - Blackpool (2-0)
Torres will finally score again in this match and could act as some much needed confidence for a fragile 'Pool. The perfect tonic is merely a visit from Blackpool.

Chelsea - Arsenal (2-0)
Chelsea cruised against Marseille while Arsenal left it late against Partizan and I believe that Fabregas' absence will play a key role in the Gunners loss against Chelsea away from home.

OVERALL RECORD
24-36
