EPL Week #12 Fearless Predictions - Midweek Special

With no European games till December, the EPL is providing us with a midweek gift. So enjoy the games and onto the picks!

Stoke City - Birmingham (2-1)
Stoke are in dire need of points but will be facing a Birmingham side that will be rejuvenated after getting a point against West Ham.

Tottenham - Sunderland (2-0)
Tottenham will be smarting after defeat to Bolton and while Sunderland will be without Darren Bent, the Spurs should grab all the points

West Ham - West Brom (2-1)
West Ham should of won their game against Birmingham over the weekend considering that they had a two goal lead, and I expect them to carry the momentum in this game against West Brom.

Wigan - Liverpool (0-1)
Have Liverpool turned the corner, perhaps and another three points on the road against Wigan will help the cause.

Aston Villa - Blackpool (2-1)
Villa were disappointing in their inability to hold a lead against Fulham and with Blackpool looking in good form considering their draw against Everton, the book would suggest a draw, but I am going with Villa for the three points.

Chelsea - Fulham (3-1)
Chelsea played rather poorly against Liverpool while Fulham grabbed a vital point in the last minutes of stoppage time against Aston Villa, meaning Chelsea should romp.

Newcastle - Blackburn (2-2)
Newcastle executed a fantastic gameplan to frustrate Arsenal and grab all three points at the Emirates, however they will be in tough against a resolute Rovers side, so both teams will grab a point.

Wolverhampton - Arsenal (0-2)
Wolves deserved something out of their game against the Red Devils at Old Trafford and will be hard pressed to get a result against Arsenal, who will be looking to get back on track after their loss to Newcastle.

Everton - Bolton (1-0)
Everton battled against Blackpool for a point and will find it tough against Bolton, but should be able to squeeze by and grab all three points at home.

Manchester City - Manchester United (3-2)
These matches have a tendency to be high scoring especially considering the circumstances, city rivalry and attacking firepower on both squads. This should be a cracker of a game and with Rooney still out, I believe that City will grab the three points.

OVERALL RECORD
52-58
