EPL Round #20 Fearless Predictions

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Back from my mini European vacation here are the fearless predictions for the first set of games for 2011. After many hours of deliberation, well ok maybe fifteen minutes, here are the picks, as always after the jump.

West Brom - Manchester United (1-2)
The Red Devils have struggled away from home and after dropping points against Birmingham, I fully expect Sir Alex's men to grab all three points.

Liverpool - Bolton (1-0)
This game is going to decide Roy Hodgson's future at Anfield and with a victory will see him extend his stay as the manager of Liverpool, so here is to the victory.

Manchester City - Blackpool (2-0)
City have been playing well and Blackpool recently grabbed three points at the Stadium of Light, but I expect Super Mario and Carlos to grab the goals for the Citizens.

Stoke City - Everton (2-2)
Both teams will split the points in this match-up between two tough physical sides that would prefer to play rugby  than football.

Sunderland - Blackburn (2-0)
Sunderland should bounce back after their home defeat to Blackpool, but will have to deal with injuries and tough elements in Newcastle.

Tottenham Hotspur - Fulham (3-1)
Rafael van der Vaart has been the signing of the season so far in the EPL and I expect that he will score a goal in this all-London derby.

West Ham - Wolverhampton (2-1)
West Ham will continue their solid form with three points against a surging Wolves who managed to beat Liverpool in their last meeting.

Birmingham - Arsenal (1-2)
Arsenal threw away two points in their away match against Wigan and Arsene Wegner will have the Gunners ready to go in Birmingham so I do not expect a repeat.

Chelsea - Aston Villa (2-0)
Villa are really struggling and Chelsea will continue to play defensive football at the Bridge and allow very little offensive freedom, so one should expect Lampard and Drogba to lead the Blues to three points.

Wigan - Newcastle (2-1)
I am not sure where to go with this game and thus expect a home victory based on no specific knowledge.

OVERALL RECORD
95-95
