EPL Round #23 Fearless Predictions

After a .500 week for our Fearless Predictions the plan is to bounce back and escape Round #23 with a winning record. There are some exciting games on tap for the weekend and with several injuries and some players missing due to the Asian Cup, it should be an eventful set of matches. Onto the picks then!

Wolverhampton - Liverpool (1-2)
King Kenny has yet to record a victory in his second go around with Liverpool and this will be the match that changes his fortunes.

Arsenal - Wigan (3-0)
Arsenal thoroughly dominated Leeds Utd. in their FA Cup replay and will be firing on all cylinders in what should be an easy home victory for the Gunners.

Everton - West Ham (2-1)
West Ham were on the verge of firing Avram Grant last week, only to pull him back into the chaos, what will happen this week after they lose to the Toffees?

Manchester United - Birmingham (2-0)
Wayne Rooney will grab a brace in this routine home encounter for the Red Devils as they coast to another three points and keep their undefeated record intact.

Newcastle - Tottenham (1-2)
Tottenham were unlucky not to grab a vital winner against Manchester United last weekend and should use that as motivation to claim a victory at St. James' Park.

Fulham - Stoke City (2-2)
Both teams will play a physical brand of football in this game at Craven Cottage and the points will be divided between two similar teams.

Blackpool - Sunderland (2-1)
After losing Darren Bent in a shocking transfer, Sunderland will either struggle against Blackpool or come out with a purpose, I see them struggling for goals and in this game will do well to grab a point.

Aston Villa - Manchester City (3-2)
Bent makes his Villa debut in this high profile match against City and one can imagine that he will at least be on the score sheet as he helps his new club to the victory against high-flying City.

Blackburn - West Brom (1-0)
Blackburn and their Indian owners will be pleased with a home victory against struggling West Brom, I expect one of the Diouf boys to grab the winning goal.

Bolton - Chelsea (2-1)
Chelsea will probably be missing John Terry and Frank Lampard and will struggle to break down an organized Bolton squad that could hand new signing David Wheater a debut but they will still come away with the victory.

Blackpool - Manchester United (1-1)
This match-up is a make-up game from an abandoned match due to a frozen pitch, and while Manchester United will not be able to grab the victory they will be able to leave Blackpool with at least a point.

Wigan - Aston Villa (0-2)
In my humble opinion the Darren Bent signing will kick boost Aston Villa's season and they should grab three points away to Wigan with Mr. Traveling Striker on the scoresheet.

Liverpool - Fulham (3-0)
Two victories in a span of three days for Liverpool . . .  call off the presses. Gerrard back from suspension leads the line against Fulham.

OVERALL RECORD
109-112
