EPL Round #27 Fearless Predictions

It's the Friday before a weekend slate of EPL matches, so that only means one thing, it's Fearless Prediction time. So onto the picks and enjoy the matches, there are a couple good ones on tap for the weekend.

Manchester United - Manchester City (3-1)
The early game of the weekend is the Manchester derby and for once, this match actually has significance for both teams in the title hunt. I have been disappointed in the form of Joe Hart over the past month and I see that being the key tipping point to the match, so three points to the Red Devils in a heated affair.

Arsenal - Wolverhampton (2-0)
Did you know that Wolves have beaten Man. Utd, Man. City and Chelsea while still being in the relegation zone? Fascinating, but unfortunately they cannot make it four for four as they go down to Arsenal two nil.

Liverpool - Wigan (2-0)
King Kenny is working his magic and Liverpool are in 6th position and climbing, and the revolution continues with a comfortable home game for the Reds.

Blackburn - Newcastle (1-0)
Newcastle showed tremendous fight in their comeback to draw against Arsenal after being down 0-4, however they will struggle in this game against Rovers, who should be able to squeeze the three points.

West Brom - West Ham (2-2)
Another relegation battle between the two clubs from the West, punny huh, you see how I did that. Regardless both teams will try to go for the victory but settle for the solitary point.

Birmingham City - Stoke City (1-1)
Another draw on the cards between two very similar teams that possess strong physical centre forwards and hard tackling midfielders. The teams should cancel each other out.

Blackpool - Aston Villa (1-2)
I think the wheels have fallen off the Blackpool fairy tail, and Villa will continue to climb up the table thanks to goals from Bent and Young, just like England did against Denmark in midweek.

Sunderland - Tottenham (2-1)
Sunderland will be fuming after playing the lead against Stoke, while Tottenham will have their eyes on the Champions League match against AC Milan in a couple days time. Therefore, the Black Cats should be able to grab three points.

Bolton - Everton (2-1)
Bolton have been playing well at home and their new loan signing Daniel Sturridge has already chipped in with two goals, so expect a victory against an Everton side that seems to be able to not do much away from home.

Fulham - Chelsea (0-2)
In this London derby, Chelsea will look for a victory courtesy of the first goal in blue for Fernando Torres, coupled with a Frank Lampard penalty.

Birmingham City - Newcastle (2-0)
Another home game for Birmingham City and this time they will be able to grab the victory due to a late goal from their giant in the middle Zigic.

West Brom - Wolverhampton (2-2)
Two teams that are struggling for points will play an attractive brand of football that will lead to goals and the points shared between both teams.

Blackpool - Tottenham (1-1)
A draw should be the result between these two teams. Spurs will be still on a high after their Champions League performance while Blackpool will manage to push for the draw.

Arsenal - Stoke (2-0)
A comfortable victory for the Gunners in this home match exactly a week before their big match against Barcelona.

OVERALL RECORD
127-127
