EPL Round #37 Fearless Predictions

Two rounds to go and the English Premier League will come to its conclusion with most probably Manchester United as the champions. With this being one of the final two fearless predictions of the season, it almost seems that we are beginning a melancholy goodbye to football for the upcoming campaign. There is no need to cry quite yet, so let's get to this week's fearless predictions.

Sunderland - Wolves (2-3)
Wolves are the more desperate team fighting for their Premiership lives and I believe that they will grab at least a point against Sunderland but probably get a victory.

Blackburn - Manchester United (1-2)
A solitary point will give the Championship to the Red Devils but I strongly believe that Sir Alex will not settle for just one point but go for the victory and clinch the title in style.

West Brom - Everton (2-1)
Even though the Toffees have had a fantastic second half to the season, it is hard to ignore the play of West Brom and should be able to grab three points in a game that doesn't really matter in the table.

Blackpool - Bolton (2-0)
Blackpool need a victory badly in order to save their club from relegation . . . . Ian Holloway will have the lads ready to go and with another three points it will make it interesting on the final weekend of the season.

Chelsea - Newcastle (3-0)
Chelsea will bounce back after their defeat to Manchester United with a thumping at home against Newcastle.

Arsenal - Aston Villa (2-1)
Both teams are floundering to the finish  . . . so when in doubt go with the home team as Arsenal grab the three points to seal 3rd place.

Liverpool - Tottenham (3-1)
The battle for 5th comes down to two teams going in two different directions . . . . Liverpool will win comfortably with goals from Carroll and Suarez, also remember this is a Liverpool team winning without Gerrard.

Birmingham City - Fulham (2-2)
A draw is on the cards between two teams that are stuck in mid-table positions, although Birmingham should play with a tad more urgency considering they are a mere couple points out of the dropzone.

Wigan - West Ham (2-0)
The battle for relegation comes down to two teams that really should be both relegated . . . so when in doubt go with the home team and ignore the team that quit on their coach.

Manchester City - Stoke (2-1)
This is not the FA cup match, but the league match that will take place on Tuesday. So while I expect City to win the FA cup I think there will be no motivation for the second match in mere days between both these teams, so a tight victory for City.

OVERALL RECORD
188-188
