EPL Round #38 Fearless Predictions

A bittersweet day for Posts By Panos as this will be the final fearless predictions for the EPL season. In the coming week you can expect a full preview of the Champions League final between Manchester United and Barcelona coupled with an in-depth discussion on the role of relegation in North American sports. Let's go to the predictions, shall we?

Aston Villa - Liverpool (2-2)
An entertaining draw between two teams who are looking to close their season with a moral boosting victory. I wonder if Ashley Young will play for Liverpool after halftime.

Everton - Chelsea (2-1)
I have always fancied Everton at home against Chelsea and especially with Chelsea having nothing to play for, I expect the Toffees to grab the three points.

Manchester United - Blackpool (2-1)
This is a tough match to call because we are not sure of the team that Sir Alex will play on Sunday while Blackpool are fighting for their EPL lives. I also wonder if Charlie Adam will play for United after halftime.

Newcastle - West Brom (1-0)
A simple victory for Newcastle at home against a West Brom team that has been playing above expectations all season long.

Tottenham Hostpur - Birmingham City (3-1)
While Birmingham City will be flying from the kick-off they simply lack the pedigree to challenge Spurs and I see Tottenham grabbing the three points.

West Ham - Sunderland (2-0)
West Ham have already been relegated and will try to impress their very disappointed fans and I do see that happening against a Sunderland team that might be playing for Steve Bruce's job.

Bolton - Manchester City (1-1)
Manchester City will try to grab third position in the table and automatically qualify for the group stage of the Champions League but Bolton away is a tricky tie and I see the points being shared between both teams.

Fulham - Arsenal (1-2)
This should be an entertaining London derby and I see Arsenal bouncing back from their recent slide and grab the 3rd position away from Manchester City.

Wolves - Blackburn (2-1)
Here we go . . . . a key battle between two teams that are fighting for survival and at this point I am going with the home team and Wolverhampton will stay another year in the Premier League.

Stoke City - Wigan (1-1)
A point will not be enough for Wigan to ensure their safety for next season, but it will be a spirited attempt at survival for the Latics.

OVERALL RECORD
193-193
