I have to admit it has been rather difficult trying to jump into the Copa America, especially with the Women's World Cup and MLS happening at the same time. Furthermore, it appears as if all the big teams, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay all struggled in their opening games and thus we have not had the typical South American flair that the Copa America is all about. Well let's get going with the second set of group games.
Day 5
Argentina - Colombia
Argentina fell behind in their match against Bolivia and struggled immensely to break down their defensive framework until a 75th minute goal from Kun Aguero. Colombia dispatched Costa Rica 1-0 but did nothing to impress the casual supporter. Argentina need to step up and quell the tension throughout the streets of Buenos Aires with a victory tonight and I fully expect them to do so by at least two goals.
