EPL Round #7 Fearless Predictions

The Merseyside derby is the major highlight of Round #7 of the EPL. Liverpool and Everton are set to battle  for Liverpudlian bragging rights and these matches are always tight and nervy affairs.

Everton - Liverpool (1-2)
With Stevie G making his return to the Liverpool line-up and the lack of anything resembling firepower from the Toffees, Liverpool takes Round #1 of the derby.

Aston Villa - Wigan (2-0)
Villa have drawn five of their six games, so let us break the trend with a comfortable victory at home against the Latics of Wigan.

Manchester United - Norwich City (3-0)
Last week's draw and midweek scare in the Champions League will surely ensure that the Red Devils dominate in their match-up against Norwich.

Sunderland - West Brom (2-1)
Sunderland are a complete disaster thus far, and it could be argued that Steve Bruce should lose his job soon, however he is given a stay of execution with a home victory.

Blackburn - Manchester City (1-3)
Perhaps City aren't as big and bad as they were portrayed to be in the beginning of the season, and after a couple disappointments in the Champions League, I will gladly go with a comfortable City victory.

Wolves - Newcastle (1-1)
Newcastle seem to have found a replacement for Andy Carroll in the two-headed monster of Ba and Best, another draw from the boys in black and white.

Bolton - Chelsea (0-2)
Seriously how difficult is this start of the season for Bolton? They have played almost everybody from the top six and are mired at the foot of the table. It continues for at least another round of matches.

Fulham - QBR (1-0)
Fulham play a difficult and tight game against an equally physical QPR side, so very few goals and goal mouth chances are in play and Fulham take the quirky London stadium cup.

Swansea - Stoke (2-1)
In the game that highlights set piece prowess, look for the home side to jump to an early lead, only to hold on in the dying minutes against a difficult Stoke side.

Tottenham - Arsenal (2-1)
Honestly, this match will be decided within the first five minutes. Why do I say that? If Gareth Bale is able to impose his will on the Arsenal backline, then that's all she wrote as Spurs will cruise to a comfortable victory. At the end of the day, Tottenham will be the better team in this London derby.

OVERALL RECORD
31-28
