EPL Round #12 Fearless Predictions

As the week is winding down to its close, here is the latest installment of Fearless Predictions where we look at great detail Round #12 of the Premier League.

Fernando Torres Fernando Torres of Chelsea shakes hands with former team mate Pepe Reina of Liverpool prior to the Barclays Premier League match between Chelsea and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on February 6, 2011 in London, England.

Norwich City - Arsenal (0-2)
Arsenal have truly flipped the switch since the beginning of the season and anything less than three points against a newly promoted team will be considered a disappointment. RVP is on fire, so except a brace as the Gunners cruise for the victory.

Everton - Wolves (2-0)
Courtesy of the fellas at the Men In Blazers, I have to admit I am spending more attention on the other team from Liverpool, Everton. What David Moyes has done with such limited resources is truly remarkable. One can only wonder if he can get a couple million pounds to throw around on decent striker.

Manchester City - Newcastle (2-1)
Sooner rather than later, City will have a poor game. Will it come against Newcastle? I don't think so, because City will be aware that this is Newcastle's first test against one of the top two, so I think this will be a tight game with a late winner for City.

Sunderland - Fulham (1-0)
One of the guarantees in English football is the 'rolling over' by Sir Alex's former players who have become managers. Sunderland had an opportunity at Old Trafford to grab a point and I firmly believe their tactics were way too cautious. Sunderland will bounce back with a tight victory over Fulham.

West Brom - Bolton (2-2)
Our first draw of the weekend will see the points shared between West Brom and Bolton. Bolton are better than their current position in the table and will do well to grab a point away from home.

Wigan - Blackburn (1-1)
Another draw between struggling teams. It is only now a matter of time before one of these managers gets the axe, just a matter of time.

Stoke City - QPR (2-1)
Stoke dominate at home and lose on the road, it really is a simple formula. Watch it unfold brilliantly as two goals in the first half take Stoke to victory.

Swansea City - Manchester United (1-2)
Welcome to the Game of the Year in Wales this season. Swansea will try so hard to break down United and please their fans, but Rooney and company are too strong for the new boys and will cruise to a comfortable victory.

Chelsea - Liverpool (2-1)
Chelsea's last home match against a top team in the league ended with a thrashing as Arsenal scored six at the Bridge. That will not happen again. AVB will be on the look out for former Chelsea boss, Gus Hiddink, and will surely have the Blues ready to go from the kick-off.

Tottenham - Aston Villa (3-1)
Spurs are cruising while Villa surely lack the talent to keep up. Comfortable victory is on tap for the boys in white at White Hart Lane. Look for the Dutch assassin Rafael van der Vaart to open the scoring before being subbed off in the 52' minute with a leg injury.

OVERALL RECORD
61-48
