EPL Round #22 Fearless Predictions

Another Friday and another set of fearless predictions for Posts By Panos. Hopefully, this latest edition can warm you up, because if live in frigid north nothing seems to be working. As always enjoy!

Norwich - Chelsea (1-2)
The fairy tell ends for the Canaries with a home loss to a desperate Chelsea squad looking for points to climb up the Premier League table to contend for a Champions League berth.

Everton - Blackburn (2-1)
Blackburn have so many injury concerns, that in essence, they are fielding a 'B team, and probably the major reason why they are languishing near the bottom of the table. As for Everton, I think we might see a cameo from their recent signing Darren Gibson and dare I say a goal from Mr. American Landon Donovan.

Sunderland - Swansea (2-0)
If Sunderland had a striker, they could have easily grabbed a point against Chelsea at the Bridge. Luckily this week they play Swansea and should grab a comfortable victory at home against a team that will still be on Cloud #9 after their victory against Arsenal.

QPR - Wigan (2-1)
The Mark Hughes era at QPR gets their first victory at home against a depleted Wigan squad who are in the midst of a challenging run of games that will make or break their season.

Fulham - Newcastle (1-0)
Here is where the losses of Ba and Tiote will negatively affect Newcastle, as they suffer defeat away from home to Fulham, who will have their American, Clint Dempsey, score the winner. What is with all the Americans scoring this weekend?

Wolverhampton - Aston Villa (2-1)
Wolves, buoyed by Mr. Frimpong from Arsenal, will grab a deserved three points against Villa, who are in a state of flux with the rumors of Darren Bent making his annual January transfer to another team just about set to heat up.

Stoke City - West Brom (2-0)
Stoke are simply unstoppable at home and will cruise to a comfortable victory at home . . . and I have nothing else to add about a game I will not watch.

Bolton - Liverpool (1-1)
This should be a 0-0 draw because Liverpool can't score, but that would be dull, wouldn't it, so it is still a draw, but this time both teams will score a penalty.

Manchester City - Tottenham (2-2)
Tottenham were thumped by City in their first encounter of the season, it will not happen for a second time. It is weird saying this, but City are simply lacking players and their squad depth will be tested in the winter months, especially with the African Cup of Nations around the corner. So that means Spurs can nick a point in Manchester.

Arsenal - Manchester United (3-2)
So the good news for Arsenal fans is that there is no possible way they can lose this game by 6 goals. However, it will be a tight and nervy affair, settled by, wait for it, a dramatic 88th minute goal by Mr. Thierry Henry. Now, that would be a lovely way to end Round #22 of the EPL.

OVERALL RECORD
106-104
