EPL Round #26 Fearless Predictions

After an FA Cup weekend, the EPL kicks back up with nine games on tap. We must remember that Liverpool are in the Carling Cup Final at Wembley on Sunday. This is probably their only hope for silverware. Let's get to this round's games and maybe next week at this time we will be above .500.

Chelsea - Bolton (3-0)
Chelsea bounce back after their midweek defeat at Napoli with a comprehensive thrashing of Bolton at Stamford Bridge.

Newcastle - Wolverhampton (2-1)
Wolves begin a new era without Mick McCarthy and continue their downward trend with a last minute defeat to Newcastle. Look for Mr. Ba to continue his rich goalscoring form.

QPR - Fulham (2-0)
QPR exact some measures of revenge against Fulham with three points at home. Mark Hughes' men will be up for the match and should score an early goal to establish their dominance.

West Brom - Sunderland (1-2)
Sunderland build upon last week's cup victory against Arsenal by securing a victory away from home against West Brom.

Wigan - Aston Villa (1-1)
Wigan and Aston Villa cancel each other out in what will probably be a fairly boring game. The only excitement might be if Robbie Keane handcuffs himself to the post to avoid going back to the LA Galaxy. In my opinion living in LA versus Birmingham is a no brainer.

Manchester City - Blackburn (2-0)
City should be able to easily solve the Rovers defense that will be missing Samba. City will grab goals from Aguero and Silva.

Arsenal - Tottenham (2-1)
This is Arsenal's last stand and with everyone going against them after the debacle in the Champions League at the San Siro, well, they have a lot to do to grab the three points.

Norwich City - Manchester United (2-2)
I am inclined to take the Red Devils away from home against Norwich, but Norwich have been playing very well and I think they will be able to hold United to a single point.

Stoke City - Swansea City (2-2)
I really have nothing of value for this game, so therefore let's go with a simple draw between two teams that will be languishing at mid-table.

Overall Record
124-126
