Posts By Panos Euro 2012 Coverage

Almost two years ago this endeavor began with the simple goal of sharing my thoughts on the World Cup in South Africa. Granted I was unemployed and fresh off grad school, so in reality this exercise was a means to keep busy. Fast forward to today and with a loyal fan base, Posts By Panos, albeit with some growing pains,  might actual pass for a sports blog.

In less than one month the best international soccer tournament is set to kick-off in Poland and the Ukraine. Yup, I said it, the best international soccer tournament is the Euro. Cue the hate mail. The reasons are straight forward. First of all, there are no weak teams in this competition and secondly, and probably more relevant, Greece actually won this tournament. Still the biggest shocker in football history. No, but in all seriousness the level of play at a Euro is always greater than that at a World Cup. Other than Argentina and Brazil most of the world's strongest footballing nations reside in Europe. There are always going to be exceptions, but that is why this tournament is such a joy to watch.

Regardless of where you stand on the tournament, our hope is to keep you covered on all things Euro with the typical Posts By Panos bite and bark. So what's the plan:

Posts By Panos Coverage
Detailed Group By Group Previews
Fearless Predictions For All Games Which Include A Short Preview
Live Chats - Semifinals and Championship Match

Fans Coverage
Perspectives By Posts By Panos Readers

If you are interested in offering your perspective on your favorite footballing nation, by all means jump on board. Upset about the team selection, vent away. Let's be realistic here, there is absolutely no way I can cover every angle of the tournament, so I am asking for your help. Have a topic, just shoot me an e-mail, pkelamis@postsbypanos.com and I am more than happy to give you the forum.

I am truly looking forward to sharing my views on Euro 2012, and hopefully some of you will jump on board and throw a couple thoughts together for the blog.

Cheers!
