Because I was so amazing at picking the World Cup matches, let's give this a shot with the EPL! Enjoy the games and most importantly enjoy the picks, well enjoy making fun of the picks!
The first game of the season and I believe Roberto Mancini's men are up to the task, picking up a vital three points, something that should of happened at the end of last year.
Aston Villa - West Ham United (1-1)
Turmoil at Villa Park as Martin O'Neill resigned last week due to some conflicts with owner Randy Lerner, while West Ham will be rejuvenated by Avraam Grant and I see them snatching a point on the road.
Blackburn Rovers - Everton (1-1)
It is opening day and both teams will be geared up for this fixture and I could see a draw on the cards as Blackburn were fantastic at home last season.
Bolton Wanderers - Fulham (2-1)
After Bolton's stern pre-season test against Toronto FC, I fully expect them to take the three points against Fulham and new manager Mark Hughes.
Sunderland - Birmingham City (2-0)
Darren Bent is going to score a ton of goals this upcoming season, and he is going to bag his first of the season versus Birmingham and new keeper Ben Foster.
Wigan Athletic - Blackpool (1-0)
Roberto Martinez is a fantastic manager and commentator as evidenced by his work at the World Cup for ESPN, and I see the Latics grabbing three points against new boys Blackpool.
Wolverhampton Wolves - Stoke City (2-1)
The Wolves are ready for another campaign in the big show and buoyed by a rocking home crowd should be able to defeat Stoke City.
Chelsea - West Bromwich Albion (3-0)
A stroll in the park for Chelsea as they coast to victory versus WBA with Didier Drogba bagging a brace for the Russians.
Liverpool - Arsenal (1-1)
Arsenal lost the title last season because they could not get the points against the big boys in the league and therefore a draw will be a big result for the Gunners against a revitalized Liverpool that is still without Torres and perhaps Reina.
Manchester United - Newcastle (3-1)
This Monday match-up will see the Red Devils dominate Newcastle and they should be able to coast to victory by at least a two goal margin.
OVERALL RECORD:
0-0
