Barcelona took on AC Milan in a friendly match at the Nou Camp to decide the Gamper Trophy. The match was irrelevant and was treated as such with both teams fielding weaker than usual teams with the start of their domestic campaigns a couple of days away. However, the match was Ronaldinho's first trip back to the Nou Camp and he was treated to a hero's reception by the Barcelona faithful.
