Fearless Predictions - Women's World Cup - Day 4

Day 3 at the Women's World Cup continued with Marky Mark's good vibrations for our fearless predictions as both Sweden and the United States won their respective matches. Day 4 sees Group D take center stage and all the focus will be on Brazil and the attacking threat of their superstar Marta.

Day 4

Norway - Equatorial Guinea

Norway begins Group D action against the men, ummmm sorry I meant women, of Equatorial Guinea. All joking aside, and we should joke when a women's team allegedly uses men for their national team, but Equatorial Guinea will be in tough against Norway. While Norway might not be the force in women's football that they were in the 1990s, Norway should put a couple goals past the World Cup debutantes from Equatorial Guinea.

Norway - Equatorial Guinea (3-0)

Brazil - Australia

Brazil are favored to meet Germany in the final and they begin their quest for their first World Cup title against the upstarts from Australia. While Brazil attack with reckless abandon and no regard for human life, thank you Kevin Harlan, Australia are a physical side that are relentless. Multiple times during the previous World Cup Australia fought back from deficits to advance to the quarterfinals, most importantly against Canada during the group stage. This has the potential to be one of the highest scoring games in the tournament and I see Brazil grabbing the victory.

Brazil - Australia (4-2)

Fearless Predictions
5-1
