EPL Round #3 - Fearless Predictions

Another week and another set of fearless predictions. Excuse the delay, they were supposed to be posted last night, but due to numerous beverages at an overpriced and pretentious bowling alley, we are going to have to make due with a morning post. Enjoy the picks!

Aston Villa - Wolverhampton (2-1)
Wolves have made an inspired start to the new campaign yet I cannot see them grab the victory against an Aston Villa squad that is at home and fresh off an impressive victory against Blackburn.

Wigan - QPR (1-0)
Wigan have had massive troubles scoring goals but the elixir is always a visit from a newly promoted club. Wigan should be able to squeeze by QPR by a solitary goal.

Chelsea - Norwich (3-0)
Juan Mata welcome to London, now take your place on the bench and watch as Torres and company grab a comfortable victory at the Bridge.

Blackburn - Everton (1-1)
Blackburn will grab their first point of the new campaign, but not three as Everton will fight back for the equalizing goal, let's go with Arteta to grab the goal.

Swansea City - Sunderland (2-2)
Sunderland's stuttering start to the new season is a cause for concern especially after losing the derby against Newcastle. Meanwhile Swansea will be buoyed by their home support and battle for the point.

Liverpool - Bolton (2-0)
Bolton played well in their home defeat against Manchester City but the gulf in class between the two sides was pretty evident. An away trip to Anfield should not yield a better result as Liverpool will win by a goal or two.

Newcastle - Fulham (1-1)
The sale of Joey Barton to QPR was rather interesting as he was the fulcrum of the Newcastle midfield, but as always character is a vital component of any dressing room. With the loss of their engine Newcastle will struggle and settle for a draw against Fulham.

Tottenham - Manchester City (2-2)
Manchester City have done well thus far to start the season exhibiting an attacking flair that was missing last season. However, they have been vulnerable at the back and that will result in the draw away from home to Spurs.

West Brom - Stoke City (1-0)
West Brom finally get a winnable match after starting the season at home to United and away to Chelsea. They should respond well and grab the three points against a tired Stoke team that a midweek European adventure.

Manchester United - Arsenal (2-0)
The title favorites and the early leaders for the championship are Manchester United and a home date against a struggling Arsenal will only distance themselves from the chasing pack. Arsenal are far from the team that they will be in a couple months, and they will still struggle in this game.

OVERALL RECORD
9-10
