EPL Week #6 Fearless Predictions

Well we all knew that eventually we would not be able to go .500 for more than three weeks in a row, however we were hoping that we would be climbing above .500 not dropping below. But what can you do, we will bounce back this week so without further ado let's bring on the picks for Week #6 in the EPL. Cheers for reading!

Manchester City - Chelsea (2-4)

Manchester City and Chelsea were both knocked out of the Carling Cup and this match will definitely provide fireworks and I still do not see the cohesion from Manchester City that is needed to upset Chelsea, so with that in mind Chelsea will grab the three points.

Arsenal - West Brom (3-0)
West Brom has done well in the last couple of weeks grabbing some vital points in their attempt to stay in the first division, however Arsenal will cruise to the three points with goals from Chamakh, Nasri and Arshavin.

Birmingham City - Wigan Athletic (1-0)
Birmingham were disappointing against West Brom and I see them responding with a solid hard fought victory against Wigan who will be licking their wounds after a defeat to Manchester City in the previous fixture.

Blackpool - Blackburn Rovers (1-1)
Blackpool will attempt to play attractive attacking football whether they are going against Chelsea or Toronto FC, they just do not care and will battle well against Rovers in what should be a tight game that will go down to the wire.

Fulham - Everton (1-2)
I have been consistently waiting for Everton to show their true value and I believe that this is the week for them to bounce out of the relegation zone, and considering that they are playing against a weakened Fulham side, the three points are there for the taking.

Liverpool - Sunderland (2-0)
Liverpool have not lost to Sunderland at home for eleven seasons so with that in mind I am not going to bet against the Reds, especially considering that they are due for a bounce after their disappointing loss in the Carling Cup against weaker opposition.

West Ham United - Tottenham Hotspur (2-2)
The Hammers showed some life in their draw against Stoke last weekend and I believe that they will grab another point against the Spurs, especially considering that some of the Spurs' focus will be on the Champions League match in a couple days.

Bolton Wanderers - Manchester United (1-2)
United rested several key players in their demolition match in the Carling Cup and I fully expect no dropped points on the road this week for Sir Alex's men.

Wolverhampton Wolves - Aston Villa (0-2)
Here we are with Gerrard Houllier's first match in charge and I believe that Aston Villa will response favorably in their match against Wolves, and sorry Malki but no love for the Wolves this week.

Newcastle United - Stoke City (2-0)
I was completely shocked when Newcastle upset Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Carling Cup, and I think the momentum will continue against Stoke.

OVERALL RECORD
23-27
