Fearless Predictions - Copa America - Day 8

The toss-up continues at the Copa America as I continue to misfire with my fearless predictions. Honestly, I have a better shot at predicting when Greece will default on their debt rather than who will win the group matches at the Copa America.

Day 8

Brazil - Paraguay

Brazil struggled in their Copa America opener against Venezuela and just like Argentina have been drawing criticism back home. Paraguay also struggled in their opener failing to score a goal in the goalless draw against Ecuador. So we have two teams that can't score, which of course means we should have a game with no goals. Forget common sense, let's go with Brazil by two goals.

Brazil - Paraguay (3-1)

Venezuela - Ecuador

Both teams fired above their weight in holding their opponents off the score sheet in their opening matches. However, this match is probably the most important in the tournament for them as the winner will be probably advance to the knock-out stage. Therefore, with a win being the ideal result for both teams, let's go with a draw.

Venezuela - Ecuador (1-1)

Fearless Predictions
2-8
